Online Video Analysis
Video analysis breakdown is the best way to fast track your SUP surfing progression.
Watching yourself SUP surf on video, especially if it’s your first time, can be both scary and exciting. We hold a visual of how we might look to others in the water but it’s not until we see ourselves on video that we can gain a deeper understanding of how we actually surf.
This is what makes video analysis so valuable for every single SUP surfer no matter your ability level. You connect with the coaching at a deeper level because you can see exactly what aspect of your surfing needs improvement.
Beau Nixon has 15 years of experience coaching SUP surfers and working with video analysis to improve performances. He is able to identify the changes you need to make in order to take your surfing to the next level.

Video Analysis Questionnaire
• What do you receive from Beau?
Beau will send a video back to you of your surfing clips with a VoiceOver, annotations and drawings which clearly explain what you need to do in order to improve. You will also receive a written breakdown and coaching plan and have the opportunity to chat with Beau over a 20 minute call.
• How can I get the clips to send in?
There are a number of ways to capture video for a breakdown. The simplest form is by using a go pro or action camera on the front of your board pointed toward you. You could ask family or friends to film your waves using a video camera. Or use a solo shot which is an automatic camera that follows and tracks your surfing.
• What if I have more clips or the maximum upload size is not enough?
4-6 clips is a good number for us to work with. If you have large files please use WeTransfer to send them. Once you submit your questionnaire and payment, you will receive an email with steps to upload more clips along with an email address to send them to. Please check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see an email in your inbox.
