Beau and Clare need to be commended for their organizational skills, knowledge, experience and going beyond and above for the customer at all times to make sure we had a fantastic experience. I felt very supported when going out of my comfort zone and pushing my SUP Surfing boundaries - Beau was always there to take care of us and encouraging our progress. I really enjoyed the extensive knowledge that Clare had for the marine environment and time spent in the water with her snorkelling. On top of that both Beau and Clare are great people to be around!

ABOUT

This once in a lifetime trip is run in partnership with a grass roots marine conservation charity, Love The Oceans, who are a not-for-profit that operate on the ground in Inhambane, Mozambique. They study and research the diverse marine life in the area to support the community in establishing a marine protected area. For 10 days you are able to see into their world and collect citizen science.

Subject to favourable conditions, SUP surf coaching sessions with video analysis will take place every day with SUP champ Beau Nixon. This uncrowded, remote region is excellent for perfecting your SUP skills.

Alongside SUP surfing, you can explore the area and the rich abundance of African wildlife with our marine biologist Clare Baranowski. In this region humpback whales migrate close to the coastline and you can take SUPs out to encounter the whales and collect data to feed back to the charity. There are also whale watching and snorkelling opportunities available from the boat, with SUP river trips as an option too.

This trip offers nine nights in beach front villas with all food catered and cooked by the Mozambican community, who offer a continental breakfast, varied lunch and local dinner.
