Beau Nixon

Beau Nixon is an Australian SUP Champion with a deep passion for SUP surf coaching. Named Man of the Year by SUPconnect Magazine, Beau's extensive experience includes competing, commentating, coaching, and traveling the world, honing his skills in the SUP industry. His expertise and enthusiasm for SUP surfing ensure that every participant receives top-notch coaching tailored to their skill level.

Clare Baranowski

Clare Baranowski is an accomplished marine biologist with a wealth of experience working in tropical locations around the world. Her published work and extensive knowledge of the underwater world make her an invaluable guide for our marine adventures. Clare's ability to share the wonders of marine life enhances every trip, offering unforgettable educational experiences alongside thrilling paddleboarding.

Beau knows the surf breaks like the back his hand. You will be in the right spot, every time. His coaching improves your SUP surfing skills through technique breakdowns and video analysis and Beau also provides you with a detailed plan to continue your progression.

Clare teaches her clients about ocean conservation by taking them out snorkelling, paddle boarding, beach combing, rock pooling and hiking, showing them the natural world and then backing this up with presentations and discussions on marine conservation and sustainability. Clare offers immersive experiences in the ocean which will help change the way people interact with the environment in their everyday lives at home.

My trip to the Maldives was amazing! Everything exceeded my expectations starting with brilliant surf coaching from Beau Nixon. An onboard photographer made this possible with catching all our waves for feedback. Each day we were treated with plentiful yummy food. Between surfs we had the opportunity to learn from Clare a marine biologist both on our vessel then in the water. As a surfer I found it exciting snorkelling beside Clare as she pointed out the 100's of different fish and several black tip sharks. I loved my trip and will be back next year. Clare took us on a number of snorkelling expeditions and worked at a very professional level, conducting a detailed briefing before each dive. Her knowledge of the reefs and the marine life was impressive and she had a very keen eye for anything hiding/camouflaged and was quick to point it out for anyone interested. Even though she was keeping a keen eye on what was in the water and sharing her knowledge you could see that the safety of everyone she was guiding was at the forefront of her mind, constantly checking the position of everyone and explaining the currents and locations we needed to head towards to keep out of trouble.

I've just come back from a weekends SUP clinic and I can't praise Beau and his team highly enough. Saturday saw us surfing at a local break, followed by a post session analysis and Sunday had been planned to be an epic downwinder. Beau went above and beyond to make sure this would run smoothly. Unfortunately the forecast didn't pan out as expected, but that was no problem. Plan b was put in place and we had an amazing day. I can only imagine the effort that was put in behind the scenes to rearrange everything as transport was reorganised for us and we were picked up/dropped off from a completely different location as if by magic.
