SUP Surf Coaching
The Maldives is renowned for its consistent, beginner-friendly waves and pristine, warm waters, providing ideal conditions for SUP surfing. You’ll have the opportunity to surf at some of the best spots (and some secret ones) in the region, ensuring an exhilarating and rewarding experience. SUP surf coaching is carried out during every session, so each day you will be progressing and refining your technique with Beau’s personalised coaching. Your confidence and skills will definitely be elevated.
Ocean Discovery
Dive into the underwater wonders of the Maldives with guided snorkels led by marine biologist Clare Baranowski. Clare’s extensive knowledge and passion for marine life will enhance your snorkelling adventures, as she points out and explains the diverse species you encounter. Expect to see a plethora of marine life, from colorful coral reefs and tropical fish to majestic manta rays and gentle sea turtles. Clare’s guidance ensures that each encounter is both safe and informative, deepening your connection to the marine ecosystem.
Life on the Boat

THE BOAT: HAIRA
Haira is a classic surf vessel that has been recently refurbished to include modern comforts. An open top-deck allows you to breathe the fresh air and take in the sights of the Maldives. The second level combines an indoor
entertainment space which leads onto a spacious outdoor living area.
The main deck features an indoor and outdoor dining area with bar and lounge space. On the lower deck you will find seven spacious cabins with ensuite bathrooms and air-conditioning.

EXTRA INFORMATION
The Central Atolls in Maldives offers some of the best waves in the world for all surfers. There are multiple breaks and the warm water and consistent waves make it an ideal location. The best time to surf in the Central Atolls is between April to October.
International visitors will arrive by air, landing at Velana International Airport (MLE) in Male, the capital city of the Maldives. Many airlines, including Singapore, Qatar, Emirates and Etihad offer flights that carry surfboards. Check with the airline or with us before booking if you are unsure. We will meet you at the airport at 4pm for check in.
Check-in: 4pm meet at the airport.
Check-out: 10am from Haira.
It is highly recommended to bring your own equipment for SUP surfing as it ensures the most progression and improvement. However, we understand it may not always be possible, so we do offer rental options. For more information on rental availability and pricing, please reach out to us directly.
The official currency of Maldives is the Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), but US dollars are widely accepted. It is recommended to bring US dollars in small denominations and notes that are not ripped, torn, creased or altered.
Credit cards are also widely accepted, especially in hotels and resorts.
Tipping is expected onboard the boat for the local crew and a standard tip is US$10pp/day.
